Bladder cancer is the most common malignant tumor in urinary system. Superficial bladder cancer accounts for approximately 80% of all cases.Tumors recur in 50-70% of patients undergoing operation. Effective intravesical therapy of BCG, chemical drug and cytokine have been used in an effort to reduce the morbidity and expense of operation of subsequent tumors. But about 20-30% of patients were not responsed to treatment and tumors recur again. In response to the need for more effective treatments, modern molecular geneticsis is providing tools for and unprecedented new approach to cancer treatment through an attack directly on mutant genes. The basic strategy of cancer therapy is gene replacement, correction and augmentation.
