Putting In Order The Theory Of Yinqi And Yin-yang Sympathesis In Neijing

The basic concept of yin asthenia in TCM is controversial.With long years researching ,my tutor proposes that yinqi and yangqi are all belonging to the category of Qi which are to support human body. Taking the content of Neijing as criterion,the topic is intend to put in order the theory of yinqi and perfect the correlated content of TCM physiology.This paper is composed by 12 articles which is divided into three parts. The first part is to put the theory of yinqi in Neijing in order, which is composed by five articles, including its concept, movement, production, physiological nature and so on ,and at the same time put forward that the important elements of yinqi-generation is the essence, vital QI-provocation and the condition of harmony between YIN and YANG. It points out the theory of jingqi-forked rubbing remains only on the theoretical surface, not yet related to transit of meridian-QI. The theory of jingqi-forked rubbing in TCM should be regard as congenital pneuma-forked rubbing, which is called vital QI input the meridian of yin and yang. Furthermore, the paper points out that yinqi and yangqi instill into five viscera constructing visceral activities through meridian.The second part, is about classical prescription application and analysis, composed by four articles. According to the literature review of classical prescription, it is to find out the practical application of yinqi concept. This paper also demonstrates the nature of time limit about congenital pneuma and constituent ratio of congenital with postnatal pneuma.The third part of thesis indicates that the ancient doctors took the concept of yin-yang in TCM which is important elements for explaining physiology and pathology of human body . Yin and yang sympathesis-motion display dependability with appearance of physiopathology on meridian. The state of yin and yang sympathesis-motion is not statichomeostasis but taking on the state of asthenia and sthenia.In summary, by unscrambling the concept of yinqi in Neijing, it intends to establish an original theoretical structure of TCM---"pneuma—yinqi and yangqi—splenogastric qi, yinqi, yangqi—ying,wei,qi and blood"; meanwhile it also intendeds to perfect the system of TCM physiology as well as to emphasize the significance of logical inference in the development of basic theory of TCM .
