Objective:HCC is one of the most common malignant tumors in the digestive system, and it has the increased uptrend in its incidence , recurring rate and death rate.It is the important reason that the invasion and metastasis of HCC are often the failure of treatment and effect the patients life. The invasion and metastasis of HCC is controlled by many special genes, and is a complex process of polygenes and multistages, and comes down to many tumor genes and suppressors, and these mechanisms are still elusive. The maspin gene was identified by subtractive hybridization on the basis of its expression at the mRNA level in normal human mammary epithelial cells. The cloned and sequenced cDNA of maspin consists of 2584 nucleotides with overall sequence homologics of serine protease inhibitors or serpins. There is a reactive site loop (RSL) near to the end of maspin-COOH, and the protein sequence of maspin is highly conserved among the serpins family. There is a hinge region in the reactive site of maspin-NH2 .This motif has important function for serpins, which its aberrance would affect the inhibiting of serpins. At the moment the studies...
