Backgrounds and Aims: Acute lung injury is the major cause of motality among thoracic trauma patients. It was estimated by WHO that the incidence of thoracic trauma will retain increase due to economic devolopment and the increase of vehicle ammount in next 10 years. So it is very necessary to investigate the impairment role of acute lung injury and find out the way for prevention and treatment. For the past few years studies showed that the proliferation and apoptosis of endothelial cell played an important role in acute lung injury. In addition to its barrier function, endothelial cell importantly contribute to the metabolism and endocrine. Therefore, it is very important to research the machnism and protective measure of the proliferation and apoptosis in endothelial cell.To elucidate the mechanisms of TCM at the molecular level is one of important tasks in the study of TCM theory. The characteristics of TCM effects are mufti-components, mufti-target and mufti-passage. And organisms undertake a mufti-level and multi-crosstalk network in order to regulate themselves. So, we can apply the principles of systematical biology and study the gene expression regulation of TCM in organisms to further explore its molecular mechanisms. DNA microarray, a powerful means to query the relative transcript aboundance of many genes in parallel, has many advantages when it is applied in the study of the gene expression...
