An international trend shows that the hospital information s ystems nowaday are now step by step shifting from the stage that emphsizing the charge informations management to a stage called Clinic Information system(ClS), which includes the development and usage of interactive internet services suche as the Computer-based Patient Records(CPR) and the Picture Archieving and Communication System(PACS),the laboratory examinations system and the long distant medical services system.The PACS is one of the important components of CIS that manages medical images in a digital way by using computers and internet, aims to replace those mimic medical images system used nowaday, overcome the barriers to easy query and retrieve due to the traditioinal medical imagings management,and create a new way to collect,store, manage and high speed transfer digital images. To date, it is a common phenomenon that several independent and isolated systems coexist in one hopital while different kinds of medical resources can not be shared , lacking of a uniform construction criterion and techenique standard is the main cause of all these unconveniences. PACS was any incompact framework. The approach which the machine made different manufacturer got picture was different. That demanded a standard as guidance. DICOM standard had been recognized by international correlation research organization more and more, it could be compatible with more medical equipment and exterior long-distance medical net if only satisfied DICOM...
