A Research And Design Of PACS System

In the 21 st century, the development of digital hospital has become a development trend.PACS is an indispensable subsystem for constructing a digital hospital.PACS system is a Picture Archiving and Communication System, which is used for fulfilling no piece of the film and network management.The beginning of the article is introduces that the PACS system need to follow the standard of medical digital imaging and communication, a new version of DICOM standard simplifies development of PACS system and drive fast the development of PACS system.Then, this paper analyses the demand of building PACS system, After PACS has been puted into use the workflow will be optimized, PACS implements the entire system electronic.From two aspects of the film’s management and diagnosis of medical image to see the use of PACS system is of great significance,its medical image management which is informationized, has solved the original use of film to bring in a lot of manpower and material resources of the image storage,transfer, retrieval.Then, the paper analyzes the imaging department working process and working process of the clinical departments.The design of PACS system function have done a lot research which is from meet diagnostic imaging department, to support clinical departments image browsing, to improve hospital image comprehensive management level, etc.This system use Delphi language to design.PACS system consists of two parts, storage and communication, of the whole system include images receiving, storage function, the diagnosis report, query,statistics, as well as management and view function.Considering from practice PACS system, standard and efficiency, dilated, safety aspects that PACS adopt three layer structure to design, the PACS system’s main function modules including,registration/appointment/triage module, image diagnosis report module, system management module, image data backup management module.PACS system connected with HIS system is not only convenient for the patients with the diagnosis,but also convenient for the management of the image, and then benefit for research and teaching work.In the implementation and the overall design of the system and function, in this paper, the connection of PACS and HIS system have been designed.The PACS system in the network security, communication transmission security and data access securityhave been implemented.Tests show that the system is almost perfect, it can reach the expected aim.At the end the paper is about the conclusion of the PACS system.
