| This dissertation includes two parts: literature research and laboratory experiment.In the literature research, the cognition of aerobic exercise-induced fatigue in traditional Chinese medicine was reviewed, the mechanism, evaluation and recovery methods on aerobic exercise-induced fatigue in modern sports medicine were systematically summarized, and its existent problems and development trend were concluded. Simultaneously, the basic theory, clinical application and current researches on modern music therapy and traditional Chinese music therapy were carefully summed up. Furthermore, researches on the effects of music on sport training and researches on the effects of music on animals were collected and analyzed sufficiently. Therefore, the goals, theory and methods for the laboratory experiment were established definitely.There are two phases, which are human experiment and animal experiment respectively, in the laboratory experiment.The aim of the human experiment was to evaluate the effects of music therapy on aerobic exercise-induced fatigue so as to explore the recovery methods which could eliminate the fatigue completely. 65 male subjects were randomly assigned to the natural rest group (NR), the low frequency electro-acupuncture group (LE), the relaxing music group (RM) or the music electro-acupuncture group (ME). Right after an aerobic exercise on a cycle ergometer until fatigue, subjects in NR group had a 15-minute rest, while subjects in the other three groups were treated by low frequency electro-acupuncture at zusanli (ST36), relaxing music and music electro-acupuncture at zusanli (ST36) respectively for 15 minutes. For each group, heart rates, lower extremities perimeter and strength, simple reaction time, blood glucose, urine protein, blood lactic acid, and ratings of perceived exertion (RPE) before and after the treatment were determined and compared. The results showed that heart rates, lower extremities perimeter and RPE in each group decreased significantly after the treatment. In LE group, blood lactic acid dropped apparently and the reductions of heart rate and lower extremities perimeter were larger than those after the application of relaxing music. In RM group, urine protein had a significant reduction and simple reaction time showed a descending tendency, and the decrease of RPE was greater than that in LE group. In ME group, there were maximal decreases in RPE and heart rates compared with those in other groups, while lower extremities strength and blood glucose reduced obviously after music electro-acupuncture therapy, simple reaction time showed an increasing trend, and it was even longer significantly than the sedentary value. The results suggest that relaxing music has better effects on the rehabilitation of neural and psychological fatigue and the improvement of the regular capacity of kidney than low frequency electro-acupuncture, while the latter has better effects on the rehabilitation of cadiovascular and musculoskeletal fatigue than the former. Moreover music therapy is inexpensive and well tolerated with good compliance and few side effects, therefore music therapy is worthy of a more wide application. Music electro-acupuncture shows the best effects on psychological and cadiovascular fatigue, and the worse effects on musculoskeletal fatigue, neural fatigue and physical function decline compared with low frequency electro-acupuncture and relaxing music.
