ObjectiveThis topic through the acupuncture and moxibustion combined with acupoint sticking therapy forchronic lumbar muscle strain, clinical treatment and curative effect observation. Systematic study on chronic lumbar muscle strain, thus providing a new thought and method for the treatment of chronic lumbar muscle strain.Methods24ratswererandomly dividedintoblankgroup (0.2mLsaline acupoint injection), exercise group of 21 days (0.2 mL saline acupoint injection) and total saponins of Panax ginseng acupoint injection group (0.2mL oftotalsaponinofPanaxginseng acupointinjection) group of 3. Compared with the blank group, the model group rats and acupoint injection group rats were significantly reduced autonomic activities (both P<0.01); compared withthemodelgroup, acupoint injection group of independent activities of rats increased significantly (P<0.01).2. by toluidine blue staining, the hippocampal neurons of the rats in the blank group was neatcompact arranged, the interstitial cells and high density, uniform, mostly showed hyperchromaticnucleus shape, with clearly visible nucleoli, in addition, nerve cells, Nissl body is clearly visible, evenly distributed in the cytoplasm; whereas the hippocampal neurons of model group rats showed disorder loosely arranged like, around the cell gap widened, the uneven distribution ofcells, most cells showed incomplete structure shape, some cells pyknosis, irregular in shape, a single cell swelling cell body became larger and round, cytoplasm staining shallow and vague, nucleus condensation, the nucleolus is not very obvious, cells and Nissl body acupointdecreased; rats injected with pathological change is not obvious, the arrangement of single neuron, neuron structure are similar with the blank group.3. compared with the blank group, model group, acupoint injection group rat hippocampusapoptosis cells (positive cells number and the positive area ratio) increased significantly (bothP<0.01); compared with the model group, the apoptosis of hippocampal cells in rats of acupoint injection group (positive cell number and the positive area reduction ratio) were significant (bothP<0.01).4. compared with the blank group, the NE content of hippocampus in rats of model groupincreased significantly (P<0.01), no significant difference of NE content in rats with acupointinjection group (P>0.05); compared with the model group, the NE content of hippocampus in rats with acupoint injection group was significantly decreased (P<0.01). Compared with the blankgroup, the 5-HT content of hippocampusin ratsofmodelgroup increasedsignificantly (P<0.01), no significant difference of 5-HT content in rats with acupoint injection group (P>0.05);compared with the model group, the 5-HT content of hippocampus in rats with acupoint injectiongroup was significantly decreased (P<0.01). Compared with the blank group, the model grouprats and acupoint injection group rats were significantly lower DA content (both P<0.01);compared with the model group, the content of DA increased significantly in rat acupointinjection group (P <0.01); compared with the blank group, the rats in the model group andacupuncture point injection group, Ach content in rats significantly decreased (all P<0.01);compared with the model group, the content of Ach increased significantly in rat acupointinjection group (P<0.01).5. compared with the blank group, the Glu content of hippocampus in rats of model groupincreased significantly (P<0.01), no significant difference of Glu content in rats with acupointinjection group (P>0.05); compared with the model group, the Glu content of hippocampus inrats with acupoint injection group was significantly decreased (P< 0.01). Compared with the blank group, the model group and the acupuncture point injection group of rat hippocampal GABA content were increased significantly (P<0.01); compared with the model group, the GABA content of hippocampus in rats with acupoint injection group was significantly decreased(P<0.01).
