The tumor immunotherapy has become an indivsible part of the tumor therapy .Until the tumor specific antigen are identified , the tumor cell itself will continue to be the best source of immunizing antigen .The use of autologous cancer cell as vaccines to augment anti-tumor immunity has been explored for 100 years .In the early clinic practise the efficacy of such vaccination was limited .Recent stuies involving the use of genetically modified tumor cell as vaccines have restorated people' confidence of cancervaccines.Genes that encode cytokines are the most common types of genes that have been introduceed into tumor cells . The cytokines is produceed at very high concentrations at the vicinity of the vaccine site ,thereby altering the local immunologic enviroment of the tumor cell so as to either enhance presentation of antigen or to enhance the activation of tumor-spcific lymphocytes. GM-CSF is regarded as the potentest cytokine among those have been tested .To elucidate the possible value and feasibility of this tactic in human fibrosarcoma tharepy .We conducted a series of studies .Frist we transduced the human fibrosarcoma cell line with Ad-GM-CSF ,by...
