Primary hepatic carcinoma (PHC) is one of the most common human tumors throughout the world and particularly in China. Epidemiological studies have indicated the carrier state of hepatitis B virus (HBV) as passible causative agents of hepato-cellular carcinoma (HCC), but the molecular mechanisms of development of HCC are still unclear.
