With the rapid development of clinical homeotransplantation, the demands for organs are increasing, thus the shortage of homologous organs is becoming more serious. Xenotransplantation has been the focus of the current organ transplantation research in the world. The successful breeding of transgenic pig makes xenotransplantation possible. However, it only solves hyperacute rejection of heterogeneous transplantation. In the heterogeneous transplantation of transgenic pig as a donor, just like in the al-logenic transplantation, immunosuppressants must be used. And im-munoreactions caused by a large number of heterogeneous antigens carried by transgenic pig may be more complicated, more difficult to control than those caused by allogenic organ transplantation. Now researchers have been working on the approach to induce recipients' specific immunotoler-ance to heterogeneous donor, and then the dosage of immunosuppressants is reduced or not administered. Many approaches to this aim have been established. Among them, the bone marrow transplantation is a focus in this...
