Prostate cancer is one of the male's common malignancies. In western countries, the incidence of prostate cancer is very high, and it also rises gradually year after year in our country. Now, it ranks third among all urinary malignancies. Most of the patients with prostate cancer are older people who suffer metastases. They often lose the chance for operation. Some of them can relapse even after hormonal treatment, and resisted this treatment. Therefore, the pathogenesis of prostate cancer needs investigation.Apoptosis, also named cell program death, is an active pattern of cell death. Apoptosis together with proliferation determines the homeostasis of cell in number. As an active programed cell death pattern with a genetic background, it is regulated by many genes. When the components of cellular apoptotic machinery mutated or are present in inappropriate quantities , apoptosis of cell occures which can lead to some diseases , such as cancer, autoimmunity etc. Some of apoptosis related genes are unknown. Cloning these unknown genes will help people to find out the essence of apoptosis, and help us to cure and treat these diseases in our...
