Research Of The Relationship Between Gastric Carcinoma Traditional Chinese Medicine Classification Of Syndrome And Tumor's Invasion And Metastasis

AIM (1)To establish the fuzzy mathematic model for differentiation of symptoms and signs of gastric carcinoma by means of fuzzy mathematics; (2)To explore the relationship between the expression of genes related to metastasis in different types of syndrome in TCM of gastric carcinoma and the types of syndrome, and the relationship between metastasis blocking mechanism of TCM and types; (3)to investigate the factors which influence the gastric cancer prognosis according to different types of syndrome in TCM and in total respectively. METHODS According to the fuzzy statistics of 769 cases of gastric carcinoma, the fuzzy symptom set U and fuzzy type set V, the fuzzy reference between symptom and type, fuzzy matrix were set up, the diagnostic model was established according to matrix operation and synthesis, the biggest undercommanding principle. Expression of E-Cad,C-erbB-2,P53,nm23,MMP-2,TIMP-2,ICAM-1,VEGF,KDR mRNA in gastric cancer tissues was determined by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)in the six types, explore the relationship between types and genes; compare the survival rate of the six types, Univariate survival analysis by Kaplan-Meier and log-rank test, the significant factors for multivariate survival analysis by Cox regression analysis according to different types and in total respectively. RESULTS the total coincidences for modelâ… ,modelâ…¡,modelâ…¢,modelâ…£are 66.67%,64.76%,69.52%,65.71%, there is no evident difference between four models; the expression of each gene is different between six types, the expression difference between types of E-Cad,MMP2,TIMP2 is evident; the survival rate no evident difference between the six type, the prognosis factors of different types are different, total survival analysis shows that tumor invasive depth,lymphonode metastasis,distant metastasis,tumor size,lauren type and TCM treatment are independent factors influence gastric cancer prognosis; CONCLUSION (1)the fuzzy models help doctors draw a conclusion about the attribution for the patients, the development trend of the disease and the overlap of different types; (2)Difference of metastasic mechanism was noted in different types, the different expression of the genes may be the inner basis for different types, for different types, the metastasis blocking mechanism of TCM are different;(3) the prognosis factors of different types are different, tumor invasive depth,lymphonode metastasis,distant metastasis,tumor size,lauren type and TCM treatment are independent factors influence gastric cancer prognosis.
