Mathematical analysis has the characteristics of systematic, multi-facet, great flux, objectivity, which can be used in analyzing abundant and complex clinical medical records in TCM, and objectively conclude the complex relation of the syndrome, sickness, symptom, prescription and medicine. This research faced to the the ancient medical records of emotional syndrome patterns. The analysis of the symptoms and signs, pathogenesis factor and the treatment method have many subjective factor. The disease, symptom and the medicine draws more close to the original and reflects the true appearance of the medical records. Therefore, this research emphasize to the mathematic analisis in disease-syptom-medicine, mining the characteristic and relationship, summarize the basic pathogenesis by the basic prescription and medicine analysis, deduces and validate the rule of syndrome and treatment in emotional syndrome patterns.1,ObjectiveThe research aimed at the mining of the rule of syndrome and treatment of emotional syndrome patterns in the ancient medical records of emotional syndrome patterns by mathematic analysis.2,MethodsThe research object is the the ancient medical records of emotional syndrome patterns, In order to build the database, using all kinds of mind symptom as keyword to search the medical records of emotional syndrome patterns in "zhong hua yi dian". According to the original medical records, we analyze the syptom, gender, age, inducement, pathogenesis, place, differentiation of symptoms and signs, therapy method, medicine, etc.By the SAS8.2 software programming, the text data is converted to the digital variable as 1 and 0 respectively. And finally complete the frequency analysis, the factor analysis, the canonical correlation analysis, the connection analysis.3,ResultsA. General discuss1). Common analysisThis research have 1040 medical records in 91 ancient medical books, refer to 17 emotional diseases, such as palpitation, insomnia, melancholia, epilepsy, insane, crazy, etc.. Most of the records didn't mention the gender (70%) and the age (79.9%). Disease incidence of the female is more than the male, but has no obvious difference in age distribution.Most medical records didn't describe the onset emergency (62.6%) or otherwise, didn't note the inducement (60.5%). Many kinds of emotional inducement mix to induce disease. The places of the most emotional syndrome patterns are the heart, the liver and the spleen.2). The syndrome differentiation and treatment of emotional syndrome patterns can combine the Zangfu system and Qi-Blood-Body fluid system. The basic pathogenesis is qi-deficiency and stagnation of qi, then cause the blood-deficiency and flowing stagnation of body fluid. The disorder of Zangfu function is also impotant pathogenesis in emotional syndrome patterns. The deficiency pathogenesis focus on the spleen, renal, heart and liver, the most are qi-deficiency, yin-deficiency and blood-deficiency. The excess patbogenesis appears in the liver, heart, gallbladder and stomach, the most are pathogenic fire and phlegm.4). Combine the syndrome, disease and syptom of differentiation and treatment is useful for the clinic in treating emotional syndrome patterns.5). Mathematical analysis is useful in research of medical records of emotional syndrome patterns support the value of some medicine and classical prescription. It can also confirm some known medicine pair, find the existence of special combination, mine the effectual medicine and medicine pair in common use, the KDD prescription of each disease and syndrome. And deduced the basic pathogenesis by the KDD prescription. It matchs the existing TCM theory and prove the theory. It provides the basis for clinic and the method for further clinic and experiment research.
