On The Core Values ​​of Self - Confidence

As a mental sedimentary mechanism,value confidence is the positive attitude and view symbolized by his value practical competence and concerning his own interest and value pursuit. For value confidence,three features are listed as follows: one is based on the subject himself,which means his own confidence and actual state; the second is based on the particularity of value,which means the confidence in the particularity of the basic content existed in value; and the third is based on the scientificity of value, which means the motivation of practicing with the scientificity of value. On the core values of socialism, it is refers to the value of practice ability of the Chinese people as a symbol on their own interests and value pursuit of "three advocate"-- the positive attitudes and perceptions. Its basic connotation is to the value of the pursuit of a high degree of identity, maintain the independence of t he national spirit of the important support, get rid of the ’universal values’ blind.The core socialist values should be measured from three aspects: subjectivity,particularity and scientificity. First, we must be based on Marxist classic works about the wholeness of socialism and on the point of departure for “confidence in road, theory and system” to measure the way of achieving “man’s all-round development”. However history means diversity. The Marxism born in 1850 s came to China in different context, path and form, which means inherent diversities. Today, facing the new characteristics of diverse consciousness in thinking, people’s focus of retrospection should be maintained in “three advocates” confidence.As the main entity, CPC value the “three advocates” highly, and works hard to find consensus among different “ideologies” and “values”, and aims to maintain independence with national spirits, so as to not be the yes-man of Western values, and at the same time break the “universal value” myth. To the general public, it is interesting: first they are for the “three advocates”, while know half, and do a little; second moral behaviors are complex and self-management is of low standards; third the index pointing to self is high, while low to others; fourth, as for the value principles, easy formulating ones are easier to be adapted than difficult ones; fifth the socialist values of freedom, equality, democracy and government by the law and so on have been recognized highly, but capitalist values of freedom, equality, democracy and human rights have been enjoying lowly. The cause of these interesting results is that there are value entanglement, value bewilderment and little delicate practice. Therefore we must base on existing degree of recognition, practice and magnanimousness, to push value confidence further. The effective ways are: from individuals, they will consolidate the core socialist values; from the media, they will embellish the generation mechanism of value confidence; from the environment, they can construct a chain from transmission mechanism, integration mechanism, recognition mechanism, developing mechanism and assurance mechanism, which can nurture and practice the core socialist values in detail; from the subject, they will reshape the current state of the subject.In the history involved by people’s strong subjective will, something unexpected can happen, though we try hard to hold the “future” in hand. So we think about the destiny of “three advocates”, that is, whether it can be the “Chinese universal value”. The best scientific way is to evaluate methodologically. But one point is valid, that is, “being on” can only be maintained by “being out” continuously.
