The Research On Export Product Diversification Of China

Since China have been reforming and opening up, the export has achieved a rapid growth, increasing from 16.761 billion dollars in 1978 to 2209.6 billion dollars in 2013, with an average annual growth rate as high as 21.12%, and has become the largest export countries And it has accompanied with a lot of problems, such as the increased international trade conflicts 、 the extensive export mode, low level of export structure and the deteriorated trade terms. All of these problems demonstrate the low level of export diversificationThe low level of export diversification mainly includes two problems:the over-centralised export market s and the low level of export structure.And in the early 1990s, in order to cope with the problem of the over-centralised export markets,such as, Europe、American、and Japan markets,we came up with and implemented the export diversification strategy, and then the export markets has become larger and larger and export quantity increased faster and faster. But the current problem is the diversification of export product structure, such as, concentrating on exporting the labor intense goods, low share of high technology intense export goods.The main thought of this article is as following:analyze the development characteristic of export diversification,and its development law and underlying problems,and further summer up its development logic chain; think about how to optimize the export diversification and how to come up with the effective measures to promote the export diversification and how to find the right path of our export diversification.The main content of this article includes eight chapters.The first chapter:introduce the research background、the research significance;The second chapter:review the relevant literature and theories of product diversification;The third chapter:analyze the meaning ofexportdiversification research on economic development, mainly respectively analyze its meaning on overall economic growth and regional economic growth.The fourth chapter:review the development process of our export product diversification evolution, and carry on the international comparison, and finally summer up the characteristics of our country export product diversification evolution. The fifth chapter:explore the influence factors of our country export product diversification progress form internal and external aspects. The sixth chapter:in accordance with the logic chain, such as "foreign demand structure, element structure, industry structure, export structure", further analyze the mechanism and law of export product diversification. The seventh chapter:explore the optimization path of export diversification from the inner and out factors. The eighth chapter:put forward conclusions and policy recommendations.on how to implement the supply policy to facilitate the optimization path from the supply degree.There are three innovational points of this article:firstly, the research of basing on the international comparative research perspective. In analyzing the characteristics of our country export diversification development process and its influence factors, we carry on the international comparison to analysis the characteristic of our country’s export diversification; Secondly, the study method of basing on dynamic comparative advantage. The starting point and final foothold of this article research is dynamic comparative advantage. And the dynamic comparative advantage changes is the main characteristic of our country export diversification development, and it is also the optimization path of China’s export diversification in the future; Thirdly the research process basing on the characteristics of different industries. This paper analyzes the different industry characteristics of the export diversification in accordance with the different industries and its subdivision industries of China, and analyzes the optimization of different path in the future.There are mainly three shortcomings in this paper:Firstly, the study of this paper is mainly based on the manufacturing sector and the export trade of goods export, with lacking of analysis of in-depth study of the export diversification of services export trade; Secondly, reduced the degree of the explanation of research findings, due to the difficulty of obtaining data analysis process, leading to some inconsistent data between the different chapters; Thirdly, in the analysis of the different segments of the manufacturing industry, we did not find an authoritative classification criteria to bridge the SITC classification standards and our national industry classification, leading to reduce the interpretation degree of the analysis in this part of the paper.
