Studies On Humanization Issues Of International Trade

The humanization of international trade is modern humanism which reflected in the field of international trade, in a series of activities relating to international trade, with people’s free and overall development as the fundamental purpose, so that the human activities in harmony with the social, natural and the view of sustainable trade view.For a long time, the traditional thought seek to maximize the benefits of international trade not only has a major impact on economic and social development of all countries, but also produced a far-reaching influence on the international trade theory and policy. Whether it is compared to the early mercantilism, classical theory of absolute advantage and advantage theory, or the contemporary theory of resource endowment, has paid little attention to the natural environment, ecological environment and the human society to the trade and development capacity, and only one-sided emphasis to maximize the use of natural resources to seek international trade interests. But after hundreds of years of industrial economic development, it had produced a series of serious consequences, such as environmental pollution, resources shortage, population explosion, ecological imbalance, gap between rich and poor. In the area of international trade,"value substance and neglect people" that means we put too much emphasis on the accumulation of wealth and lack of care for the consequences, caused by the person’s performance in trade development between humanity and nature, between humanity and animals, between human beings and between human and society. These issues are prominent such as environmental issues, animal welfare issues, labor issues and corporate social responsibility issues.Currently, some of the theoretical results at home and abroad on international trade issues in the study of people with considerable depth, and has a certain reference significance. However, such studies are mostly launched against a specific issue, lacking of logical conclusive results. We can say that the humanization research in the international trade is still in a state of continuous improvement. Therefore, combing previous literature, studing on humanization issues comprehensively and systematically is not only beneficial to recognize the logical system and the development context of the humanization of international trade, but also meaningful for the future of international trade practice. The humanization is the main line of this paper, and the author start from the reality issues of international trade. After discussed the connotation and denotation of humanization in the international trade, the author believes that international trade is a theory about people."The humanization" is a relational concept, therefore, in international trade, we should comprehend "the humanization" in a variety of relationships. In the relationship between man and nature, that reflects the protection of the environment; In the relationship between man and animals, that reflects animal welfare; In interpersonal relationships, that reflects labor welfare; In the relationship between man and society, that reflects corporate social responsibility. Accordingly, in the second part of the paper I discuss the relationship between man and nature. Citing the environmental issues of trade development brought about, I successively analysis measures and principles of the developed countries, developing countries and the international community to resolve issues related to trade and environment. Secondly, I linked to the relationship between man and animal, which is reflected in the field of animal welfare in the international trade. Focuses on the meaning and significance of animal welfare, performance and the nature of the animal welfare issues, the problem of domestic animal welfare policies and so on. Next, the paper deep into the relationship between man and society related to labor welfare and corporate social responsibility issues. The relationship between man, is based on the relationship between man and nature, based on the relationship between people and material, in other words, only solves the relationship between man and nature, human and material, the relationship between man and man, the relationship between man and society could be solved, the rules of conduct between man could be promote to man and material,man and nature. The third part of this paper is to explore cause and solution of our country in the environment issues, animal welfare issues, labor issues and corporate social responsibility issues. After compare and analysis other countries’,our solutions in these issues. This paper also relates to the other humanization issues in the international trade. Due to space limitations, only ethical and cultural issues had involved, I will be supplemented and corrected in the future.From a practical point of view, comprehensive and systematic summary the humanization issues of international trade, analysis and compare measures for countries and international organizations who deal with humanization issues, will help China develop the economic and trade strategy, and properly handle "environmental issues","animal welfare","labor welfare"and"corporate social responsibility", which appear in our development process. First, in dealing with the issues of trade and environment, we need to strengthen the government’s efforts in environmental protection functions, to promote our corporate environmental management, strengthen citizens’ awareness and green consumer behavior, etc. Second, we should enhance citizen awareness of animal protection, establish and improve animal welfare legislation as soon as possible, and establish an early warning mechanism, reform agricultural production. Third, encourage our citizens form a correct conception of human rights, promote institutional change, positive dialogue and cooperation with developed countries, and explore narrow the gap between domestic and foreign labor treatment strategy. Fourth, we should actively establish the mechanism of social responsibility inside the enterprise, solve the corporate social responsibility issues of through the joint efforts of government and society outside the enterprise.Combining induction and deduction in this paper. I summarized and analysis environmental protection,animal welfare, labor welfare, corporate social responsibility, and related to ethics and culture, policies and literatures. Borrow Status deduction on specific issues, causes and solutions for logical reasoning. This article advocates the theory with practice, summarizes the practical experience and theoretical domestic and abroad. In the future development it is beneficial to our humanization international trade.
