E-commerce market is a general term of trading places and trading activities based on related technologies. E-commerce stems from technology, but return to market. It is not independent of the traditional economy, but it is the inevitable product of traditional market in a new information, electronic and network era. E-commerce is very important for China’s national economy. Law finding and future forecasting of e-commerce market are of great significance. Typical phenomenons of E-commerce are distinctive development process, market structure, and market force, which reflect the unique operation mechanisms and inherent laws of the market. Hence, traditional market theory cannot adequately explain the mechanisms of e-commerce market.This research reviews and sums up the development process of e-commerce, analyzes the complex phenomenon, extracts common patterns and rules, builds evolution mechanism theoretical system, and carries out simulation researches.First of all, in this research, e-commerce market is regarded as a complex system, and its characteristics of self-organization are analyzed by system science theory, including open, far from equilibrium, non-linear interaction, fluctuation and the order parameter, which are the theory foundation for the research of self-organizing evolution. Then, the method of network model is introduced in this research and a complex network analysis framework is constructed to illustrate how to make the e-commerce market system a "network". The purpose is to get a network model with clear concepts and structures. Only the network of e-commerce market system can make the application of complex network methods and tools possible. The purpose "two lines (self organization theory and complex network methods)" runs through the research, which is a good fusion of advantages of self organization theory and quantitative analysis method of complex network, which open a new field for the study of electronic commerce market, and provide a new idea.Secondly, common phenomenon and laws are studied from several angles, such as the diversity of system components, the diversity of system structure, system dynamic development, and disorder and order system. Based on the phenomenon and laws, three evolution mechanism models are provided on three levels of individuals, groups and system. Among them, the individual adaptation mechanism is a gene mutation model based on enterprise gene; population evolution mechanism is a generation model based on symbiotic cooperation mechanism and selection-evaluation mechanism; the difference between system evolution mechanism and population evolution mechanism is to focus on the market whose scale is constant. System evolution mechanism is a transition model with the core order parameter.At the last, based on the above mechanism models, computer simulations which contain structure generation model and self-organization transition model are carried out. The structure generation model contains B2C market model and B2B market model. The self-organization transition model builds a network structure optimization model, based on the constraint equation of order parameter-system value. Results of the two simulation models confirm the rationality of the mechanism models, and some new rules are found.
