Each city as a member of the whole system, has its function and duty to make the urban system of coordinate stability, promoting the rapid development of regional economy. When external conditions change to sustain urban system, internal condition changes, affected by the city in corresponding change in the way of economic activity, gradually establish a new correlation between each other, each city are reset in the position in the overall urban system. As the old internal balance is being broken, which will gradually transit to a new equilibrium, urban system structure will evolve finally. In recent years, the economic globalization and the rapid development of communication technology accelerated the flow and configuration of resources. The progress of science and technology make the industry chain extension and more close process cooperation, With goods, personnel, capital, production collaboration between a variety of ways, city relations is becoming more and more close, and is developing at an unprecedented rate, show the network communiction characteristics. Urban system development has entered a new era, the city gradually replace more equal network connection between top-down vertical level, each city is an important component part of the network structure, economic capability of city is no longer the only factor that determines the status, small and medium-sized cities can also rely on their own advantages to participate in the regional overall economic activity.Network city is the new form of urban system under the background of globalization and information technology, with the advantage of high efficiency and equality, it become the trend of the development of the urban system. It complied with the requirements of economic and social development, and make the area of the city to enhance the relationship between each other, more collaboration, get more development opportunities, and promote the rapid development of regional economy as a whole. However the current network city corresponding theoretical results is not rich, the theoretical level lags behind the evolution process of urban architecture, is difficult to the building and development of network cities which play a guiding role. For towns concentrated areas promoting factors of the network connection such as the formation mechanism of research help to provide theoretical support for the regional urban system construction, promote the rapid development of cities and regions, for the government to provide practical, targeted suggestions and emphasis of urban system construction, promote the urban system in a phased manner to the advanced stage of evolution.This article adopts deductive and reasoning method, social network analysis method and combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to explore internal and external influencing factors based on city economic ties between the network formation; Analyze network main influencing factor of the urban form at different stages and the key phase of the operation mechanism. Network cities system theory has been constructed on the basis of urban geography, economic geography, urban economics, network economics, enterprise geography and other multi-disciplinary theory,-and meanwhile based on the Yangtze river delta of the listed company space organization network of relational data structure of urban network and its evolution in the empirical analysis, with the regression model to examine the effect of influencing factors for urban contact form, finally come to the conclusion and put forward the corresponding policy recommendations. To be specific, the article main research content is as follows:The first chapter is the introduction, summary of the paper’s research, including research background, significance, review of literature summary, the progress of the related research analysis. Also puts forward on the basis of the research perspective, research method, research objectives, research contents, research framework and technical route of the article, summarizes the research and innovation of this article.The second chapter is the theoretical basis of the network city. Clarify the definition of network cities, characteristics, nature; Illustrates the theoretical basis of city formation, namely traditional regional space theory and the theory of modern city system, which include regional spatial structure theory, regional space evolution theory and the theory of urban system, which includes network theory and the theory of global cities, etc.The third chapter is the background of network city formation, the realistic foundation and the general process. After analyzing the background of the network formation, with consideration of the regional economic network constructing elements and conditions depending on the change of economic facts in the urban economic relationship during recent years our country urban agglomeration; Then for the network city at different stages in the process of formation and the condition of each stage, the urban system illustrates the characteristics and the trend of evolution.The fourth chapter is the network formation mechanism analysis of the city. In establishing a theoretical analysis framework of this article, based on the analysis of the factors affecting the change of link between urban and discuss the factors in different stage plays the role of the city to form network. This article grouped into two categories, a total of eight factors of three aspects:two broad categories is the external factors and internal factors, external factors including the development of social productivity, complete transportation network and communication technology progress and national policies for regional development from four aspects, they are all belong to the influence factors of macro level; Internal factors including the upgrading of industrial structure, industry chain extension, the city government behavior and the enterprise own development, of which the first three factors in medium level, a final thought is the micro factors; Then analyzing the factors affecting the mechanisms by which the network urban form, the contact between the generation mechanism of city, the dynamic mechanism of urban relation transforming and throughout the organization in the process of evolution of urban system development mechanism, etc.; Finally analyzing the key stages of the evolution process of urban network, namely from the rank correlation to network connection micro operation mechanism of the formation stage, from organization structure change of business expansion which contributed to the space distribution pattern adjustment,has changed between enterprises, between cities associated, and then promote the regional spatial structure evolution.The fifth chapter is empirical analysis on the formation mechanism of urban network. To verify the above influence factors on the role of city formation, this article takes our country the most developed urban agglomeration——the Yangtze river delta urban agglomeration as an example analysis of the mechanism of formation of the network. Peter Taylor, this paper studies the enterprise network model of urban network, select 234 listed companies in the Yangtze river delta city of 16 in 1999-2013, the headquarters and the regional distribution information of the branch, agency assignment method to get the relationship between urban value, according to the change of relationship value between 15 years in the city, with the help of social network analysis software Ucinet6.0 evolution of urban system structure is analyzed, found that 15 years was divided into two stages, respectively is 1999-2005 and 2006-2013, the first phase is mainly among the cities in rank correlation, between cities in the second stage appeared more levels. Then select the corresponding quantitative indicators will affect factors, is to contact city values as explained variable, each influence factors as explanatory variables, using software Eviews5.0 to verify time series stationarity test, cointegration test cointegration equation, after getting long-term and stable relationship between two variables, thus affecting factors to explain contact value the role of the cities. Last for 15 years, and 1999-2005 and 2006-2013 in the three periods each factor affecting urban contact value makes the corresponding analysis.The sixth chapter is conclusion and policy meaning, on the basis of summarizing the research conclusion, put forward the corresponding policy Suggestions, analysis of the insufficiency in the research work, and put forward the direction of further research in the future.In this article, main conclusions are as follows:first, network formation is a common role through the corresponding mechanism of influential factors of the process. Confirmed by the empirical test, internal and external influencing factors in the process of city formation have played a role. External factors is the foundation, and create conditions for internal factor improvement, by pulling the internal factors of ascension and improve the correlation among the cities to promote evolution, and the internal factor is dominant, is the decisive factor to change link between cities, both are necessary condition for each other. Second, the fundamental reason for the network city form is correlation between the changes of enterprise space organization caused by urban change. Enterprises in the process of growth, productivity and progress of information technology such as the influence of the external environment, adjust the mode of production in the process of its expansion, organization structure and the spatial layout, the adjustment of changes in the contact between enterprises, the current level of economic ties between enterprises strengthen the advanced network connection between cities, reshape the structure of urban system within the framework of space form. Third, different stages of formation in the network, give play to the role of the main influence factors are different, In network bud (early) stage, the urban traffic network and industrial factors is the top two, the influence of urban system is given priority to with hierarchy; In urban network formation (middle) stage, the communication technology level and the enterprise own development force is the dominant factor, the second stage level contact is relatively weakening, the relationship between small and medium-sized cities is greatly enhanced, this association reflects the equality, network connection.This article innovation has the following two aspects:one, innovation in theory building. Existing research lacks for network city formation process and mechanism of concrete research, this article has carried on the dynamic network formation divided three stages, namely the preparatory stage, bud stage and formation stage, and analyzes the conditions needed for each stage and the characteristic of urban system; At the same time, based on the analysis of correlation between city form, on the basis of the influence factors of the external environment changes of regional distribution of enterprises production mode and organization change, explore the contact between the formation of the link between urban changes by the enterprise, and bring the change of the inner mechanism of the influence factors. Second is the empirical research innovation. Previous empirical research for network city is more static analysis at the same time, the lack of the quantitative measuring the force of impact factors, this paper attempts to breakthrough in the field of the two, with the Yangtze river delta 16cities in 15 years from 1999 to 2013 cities associated intensity data network analysis of the dynamic evolution process to better reflect the change of the network connection between continuity; 15 years of the 16 cities in Yangtze river delta city link between value as the foundation, take corresponding index quantitative factors, with the regression equation to calculate the every kind of factors influencing the effect degree of quantitative results, factors influencing the reaction intensity, to facilitate the next step for the importance of various factors affecting comparative analysis.
