Waterflooding is an effective Ehancing Oil Recovery method which is used widely in all over the world. People always pay attention to the injected water quality since it influence the formation properties and production performance. Good water quality is required in order to increase the waterflooding efficiency and producible reserves of a reservoir, which can get the balance between the higher injectivity/productivity and lower formation damage in the heterogeneous reservoir. Therfore, it is essential both in theory and practice for us to study the influence of the injected water quality on the property and production performance of a reservoir.Based on the reservoir engineering and the basic point of view that the constant injected water quality has a constant adaptation degree to reservoir, the paper analyze the factors which influence formation property and water quality and give out the evaluation criteria for all of the affecting factors and establish the evaluation method of comprehensive property a reservoir and the injecting water quality. We put forward two parameters which are named as reservoir synthetic physical property and water quality adaptation degree coefficient. We also present the new experimental theory which is called the water quality adaptation degree coefficient method about how the injected water quality influencing the formation propertied.According to the new experimental theory, this paper present the synthetical experiments results of the effect of the water quality on the reservoir properties.We have obtained the precinple curves of how the water quality adaption degree coefficient affecting the reservoir properties. It was showed that the higher the water quality adaption degree coefficient, the higher the retaining ratio of the permeability, and the vice versa.Based on the experimental results and the relationship that the adaptation degree of a certain injected water quality to a certain formation is constant, this paper present the new water quality criterion for the two water quality evaluation indexes-suspended solids diameter and content of suspended solids, this paper also presents the key value of critical water quality adaptation degree coefficient 0.667, which could be used to design the injected water quality for any reservoir.In theory, this paper deduce the theory of frontal advance of water displacing oil for the low permeability oil reservoir, with this theory we deduce the computing theory and method of oil and water relative permeability for the low permeability oil reservoir, adopt the method of volume factor correction, and study the variation of water content of low permeability oil reservoir in the process of water drive exploitation, and then acquire the relational curve of water content rate and recovery percent of reservoirs.Make use of the curves of relative permeability under the condition of different waterquality, establish the relationship of water quality and relative permeability, and provide research method and theory basis for study the affection of water quality to the development index, and this is not reported before in the literatures at home and abroad.Make use of the relationship of water quality and relative permeability, adopt the theory and method of oil reservoir engineering, study the affection of water quality to the variation of oil reservoir water content in the process of water drive exploitation for low permeability oil reservoir, after establishing the functional relationship of oil displacement efficiency and water quality adaptation degree coefficient, make out the relation curves of the affection of water quality to oii displacement efficiency under different water contend, research to express, under certain water content, with water quality adaptation degree coefficient increase, oil displacement efficiency increase, what is more, water quality adaptation degree coefficient is more big, oil displacement efficiency is more high; Under certain water quality-adaptation degree coefficient, along with water content increase, oil displa...
