There are gas liquid hydrocarbon and water in nature gas from well head. Dewatering and deliquid hydrocarbon is a necessary step in natural gas production. Nowadays, the methods of dewatering and deliquid hydrocarbon from natural gas are solid adsorption, solvent absorption and low temperature separation, etc. All these techniques are very mature, are traditional methods used. These methods have some same feature that is technology complex, high cost for operating and maintaining.Supersonic twist separator get low temperature and separation function together. Whole the separation process is completed in closed and compact equipment. This equipment structure is very simple. Operation is very convenient. It is closed and not leak. Chemical is not needed. Compared with conventional technology, supersonic twist separator can save total cost at least twenty-five percent.This dissertation has recommended the separating principle and the parts of supersonic twist separator. The medium flow state has been described when the medium pass through each part. A design idea and method has been put forward. These aimed at providing reliable theory and directing design and manufacture of supersonic twist separator.Through researching flow regular for gas flowing in a nozzle, a change relationship between nozzle cross section area and gas flow rate has been established in this dissertation. Also, an influence of flow field distribution by the change of cross section area has been analyzed. A curve equation has established for nozzle inside as well. Through flow analysis for gas flow in a Laval nozzle and a equal cross section area friction composition pipe, a method for determining a equal cross section friction pipe length and some factor have been put forward.Taking gas separation in BaiMiao condensate field 26# gas well as an example, according to method put forward in this dissertation to calculate, the structure parameters were determined one after another. The conditions of distribution of fluid velocity, density, temperature, pressure along the pipe axle were analyzed by drawing a picture. According to the simple assume design, the nozzle pipe diameter of stable section and the throat diameter are all close to the exist pattern compared with field test by a supersonic twist separator company. Also, it can meet the needs of change of fluid field. This provides that the design idea and method put forward in this dissertation is correct, is feasible as well.Dispersion numerical methods for solving torrential field were compared to each other. RNG- ε model of two equations was chosen to simulate a mix gas flow field in this dissertation. Also, for analyzing the mix gas flow field, all the assume conditions and the boundary conditions were given. At the same time, a coupled conceal calculation procedure was recommended. This method has a feature of fast convergence and nigh precision.
