Object:To evaluate the influence of AIDS antiretroviral treatment on HIV/AIDS epidemic in China; to explore the joint influence of extended coverage of AIDS antiretroviral treatment and high-risk behavior intervention on HIV/AIDS epidemic in China; and to provide useful information for HIV/AIDS preventative strategy in the future.Method:We established a AIDS dynamic model based on infectious disease dynamic model and use the parameter of Chinese free ART. We simulatethe efficiency of transmission and survival time of HIV infection among 3 cohorts in different high risk population:(1) a cohort of individuals who were not receiving ART and (2) a cohort of individuals treated with Chinese free ART guideline(CD4<350/ul). (3) a cohort of individuals universal accessed treatment. Evaluated the impact of HAART on HIV epidemic in China, predicted the long-term trend of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in China after we initiated AIDS antiretroviral treatment and simulated the joint influence of AIDS antiretroviral treatment and high-risk behavior intervention on HIV/AIDS epidemic in ChinaResults:Through the AIDS dynamic model stimulate, in the short-term, the basic reproductive number is lower in the patients received HAART than not on HAART. but in the long-term, the basic reproductive number of the patients infected through heterosexual, homosexual and IDU received HAART at 22 yeas,28 years and 32 years began to exceed the number of the patients not on HAART. The transmission stage of HIV/AIDS would go on if we abandoned high-risk behavior intervention, but would be suppressed if we still keep on with intervention. Conclusion:HAART can effectively decrease mortality, but helpless on the transmission of HIV/AIDS in China. It suggests that the combination of AIDS antiretroviral treatment and high-risk behavior intervention can provide us a effective method to put the HIV/AIDS epidemic under control.
