ObjectiveSyndrome of blood stasis play a important part in the process of knee ostarhritis(OA). We found many OA patients are hard to be treat as syndrome of blood stasis based on four physical examinations of traditional Chinese medicine. However we can get good result if treat it with activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis. Diagnose bases of syndrome of blood stasis institute in1986is very important to research. But diagnose bases of syndrome of blood stasis about knee OA is not found.Modern science found syndrome of blood stasis is manifestation of paramorphia and disfunction in blood and recirculating system such as abnormality in hemodynamics, abnormality in hemorrhelogy, microcirculation disturbance, which is the same as pathological changes of BME. Thus we believe BME can be one of diagnose bases of syndrome of blood stasis. It will fill syndrome of blood stasis and provide imaging proff support to treatment of removing blood stasis.MethodsThe first part is document research, which is focus on the importance of syndrome of blood stasis in process of knee OA. In second part111examples are recruited. According to the diagnose and treat project of knee osteoarthritis from TCM Administration, determinate treatment based on pathogenesis obtained through differentiation of symptoms and signs. Then differentiation of symptoms and signs based on the syndrome of blood stasis diagnostic criteria. And compare with each other to study clinical application in Score standard with syndrome of blood stasis in knee OA. Factor analyze to the syndrome of blood stasis diagnostic criteria is done accord ing to scores. In third part these patients will take X-ray ang MR examination to research BME in the process of knee OA. The realationship between BME, x-ray stages and clinical sysmptoms will be studied.We will review the role of BME in the process of knee OA.ResultsCompare Score standard of syndrome of blood stasis with subjective differentiation in knee OA, we found two results do not match. Principal component analysis also found the correlation of other index is too weak to take principal component analysis, besides higher dependability in OP history and pachulosis (>0.3). It hint there is local in score standard of syndrome of blood stasis with Knee OA.In our study we found there is correlation between BME and pain. And there is more pain, more BME. The correlation is also found between BME and ligament injury. The same as BME and cartilage injury.ConclusionScore standard of syndrome of blood stasis can do better job to the study of essence and alternation with syndrome of blood stasis. Thus we believe it is necessary to rebuilt score standard of syndrome of blood stasis with knee OA. We should add some index that can be implemented clinically and correlate with syndrome of blood stasis.
