Clinical Application Of Scrotal Sleeve Skin Flap In Repairing Penile Skin Defects

Objective:To analysis the outcomes of clinical application of scrotal sleeve skin flap in repairing penile skin defects. Methods:11cases of patients with penile skin defects who underwent two-staged reconstruction procedure with scrotal sleeve skin flap were retrospectively analyzed from2002to2012.Results:11flaps had survived. The size of defects ranges from2x4cm2---7×12cm2.After follow-up for3months to2years, the appearance and function of the penis were satisfactory.Conclusion:The scrotal sleeve skin flap is thin and with good blood supply, as well as easily performed in surgical procedure. The flap can be well applied in reconstruction treatment of penile skin defects, with satisfied appearance and function.
