The Acupuncture Treatment Of Non-insulin-dependent Diabetes Clinical And Experimental Research

The thesis includes twe parts of clinical and laboratory as following. According the clinical symptoms and differentiation of 2 type diabetes mellitus. we divide the the cases of 2 type diabetes mellitus into four groups :excess heat in the stomach and intestine, spleen deficiency and phlegm block inside ,liver qi stasis and kidney qi deficiency. 67 patients of 2 type diabetes mellitus have been treated with acupuncture therapy combined with putting the seeds on ear points.The patients receive the treatment everyday. A treatment course is 12 days.After 3 courses of treatment.the result showed the significantly effective rate was 19 cases .28.40%;effective rate was 35 cases.52.20%;no effective rate was 13 cases. I 9.40%;the total effective rate was 80.60%. My study show that the acupuncture can effectively reduce the insulin resistance(IR).develop the sensitivity of the tissues to the insulin as well as the decrease the level of fat indices and regulate the metabolism of blood-lipid. Acording to human beings causes of 2 type diabetes mellitus. we made 2 type diabetes mellitus rats model whose symptoms and pathogen~ were similar to man.The finally-successful rate of making the rats model was 61 .40%.We observed the indices of fast blood glucose .insulin .c-peptide the ultramicrostructure of pancreas B cell and liver cell .spontaneous electric frequency and monoaminergic neurotransmitter content of hypothalamus ventromedial hypothalamus(VMH).amount of dextrose transport of fat cell The result show that the decrease in 2hBG.2hC-P.spontaneous electric frequency.the increase in amount of dextrose transport of fat cell and amelioration of ultramicrostructure occur after the treatment of acupuncture. The correlated analysis show that there are both remarkably positive correlation between spontaneous electric frequency of thirst center and the level of INS.C-P etc.and that the remarkably negative correlation between the amount of dextrose transport of fat cell.lt suggests that the adjust the spontaneous electric frequency of ventromedial hypothalamus(VMH) is one of essential reasons of treatment the 2 type DM with acupuncture therapy.
