| At the beginning of the 20th century, CHD was the leading cause of disable and death in the United States. With the progress of medical and health work, the morbidity and mortality of CHD trends toward descending in western country. But it is still a fact that one person should be dead from cardiovascular disease per 33 seconds, which was reported by American Heart Association. With the raise of life level and aging of population, the morbidity and mortality of CHD is trending toward ascending in China now. Except that, many risk factors of CHD, such as hypertension, hyperlipemia, big BMI, DM and emotional stress are all in ascending trend. We can indicate that CHD will threaten the health of more people in the future, so the measurement of interference, education and therapeutic of CHD should be strengthen.1 The theoretic researchThe pathophysiology mechanism of CHD is complicated. Atherosclerosis, spasm of coronary artery, thrombosis, immune reaction, inflammation reaction all play a part in the development of CHD, and thrombosis acts an important role in it. Many researchers have made scientific researches on the link between CHD and lipid, haemorheology, platelet function, endothelia function. Their researches are fruitful.Angina pectoris (AP) corresponds to XIONGBI, XINTONG in TCM. In theory of TCM, blood stagnates in collateral of heart is the key mechanism. If blood stagnates in collateral, vessels will be obstructed. So blood can not nourish the heart, AP is formed. From the view, therapeutic principle of AP should be made to getting rid of blood stagnation. Through quickening the blood and transforming stagnation and freeing vessels, collaterals can be dredged, and the symptom of AP can be pacified. Furthermore, it can also modulates the release of activate factors in less the pathology deteriorates.To treat CHD effectively is the focus. With the progress of mechanic researches, therapeutics of CHD has become more and more mature. Cherished experience has been accumulated in long history of treating CHD with TCM. Choose TCM methods to treat CHD was now recognized by more and more people. And pharmacology studies of herbs become deeply and widely today. But effective and easily adapted agent is just a few in clinic now.2 The clinical researchObjective: Based on the conclusion of tutor's experience and other articles, the research is designed to evaluate the efficiency and safety of CHUANSUJIUXIN capsule (includs Lingusticum chuanxiong Hort, Styrax, DryobalanopsaromaticaGaertnf) .Methods: Randomize, double-blind, double-simulate controlled clinical trial. Take CHUANSUJIUXIN spray agent as control drug.Results: 60 AP patients which belong to the identification of blood stagnates in collateral of heart were enrolled and divided into two groups (est group 30 person; control group 30 person). One patient wasdropped and another was ruled out because of having other drugs. A total of 58 patients constituted our study sample. Baseline data of test group and control group is parable (P>0.05) .The difference of distribution of TCM and AP degree in test group between baseline and end-point is significant (P<0.05) . Compared with control group, there is no significant difference of distribution of TCM and AP degree in test group at the end-point (P>0.05) .The difference of TCM score and AP score in test group between baseline and end-point is significant (P<0.05) . Compared with control group, there is no significant difference of TCM score and AP score in test group at the end-point (P>0.05) .The total efficiency rate of TCM, AP, ECG and decrease rate of nitroglycerine at end-point are as follows: 79.31%, 51.72%, 48.28%, 73.33% in test group; 75.86%, 48.37%, 44.83%, 66.66% in control group, there is no significant difference between test group and control group (P>0.05) .Compared with control group, there is no significant difference of total efficiency rate of each symptom in test group at the end-point (P>0.05) .With the lapse of time, there is no significant difference of TCM score, AP score between test group and cont...
