Sichuan Red Capsule Treatment Of Angina Pectoris (blood Stagnation Syndrome) Clinical Studies

ObjectiveTo observe the curative effective and safety of ChuanHongHuoXue Capsule to coronary angina pectoris ( pattern of stagnation of the heart blood ) through comparison with XueFuZhuYu Capsule , and explore the mechanism and offer the scientific basis for the further clinic application .Methods1. Clinical period : All the patients from Hubei Hospital of TCM ,from September , 2004 to December , 2005 . A total of 204 patients were randomly divided into two groups : Treatment group ( 101 cases ) and Controlld group ( 103 cases ) . All of the patients' clinical symptoms conform to the diagnosis standard of angina pectoris and at the same time, conform to the pattern of stagnation of the heart blood .2. The medicinal usage : The patients in treatment group were cured with ChuanHongHuoXue Capsule orally 2 pills each time , 3 times a day . And controlled group were took XueFuZhuYu Capsule orally 6 pills each time , 2 times a day . One period of treatment was 4 weeks . During the course , others that would have an effect on the result were forbidden , including other drugs for treating angina pectoris , fat food , acridity food , smoking and drinking . The serious one could take Nitroglycerin in need .3. The curative effective and safety observation and test: For all the patients , general conditions , angina pectoris symptoms , ECG, symptoms and signs , the usage of Nitroglycerin and the safety of the drugs were all observed . In addition , blood route, urine route , stool route , liver and kidney functions , blood liquid and hemorheology were tested before and after the treatment.4. The Stat. method : The data was analyzed after observation . The count materials , the measuring materials and the grade materials were examined with X~2 , T-test and Ridit respectively .Result1. The clinical curative effective of angina pectoris symptoms : The treatment group : obvious effective rate 24.75% , progressive rate 61.39% , total effective rate 86.14% . The controlled group : obvious effective rate 9.71% , progressive rate 66.99% , total effective rate 76.70% .
