Ischemia cerebral vascular disease (ICVD) is seriously endangering man's healthy for the high incidence, mortality, disability. Effective methods to treat ICVD will have social and economical value. Chuanxiong is one of commonly used Chinese herbs which can activate blood circulation and dissolve stasis. It was effective in the treatment of heart or brain disease. Lig injection is effective components that was extracted from Chuanxiong . According to Chinese medicine basic theory and studies on mechanism of ischemia cerebral vascular disease in western medicine, the research is based on lots of clinic investigation which Chuanxiong treat ischemia cerebral vascular disease, We draw a conclusion that Lig injection can treat ischemia cerebral vascular disease. Adopted radio immunoassay, electric physiologic technique, high performance liquid chromatography analysis technique and other modern research methods, we systemically study the effects and mechanisms of Lig injection on cerebral ischemia from the level of whole animal, organ and cell molecule. Our results show as follows:1. Lig injection protect brain issue in course of cerebral ischemia reperfusion. Presented in detail below: ①Lig injection could obviously decrease the content of water in tissue of cerebral ischemia reperfusion; ②Lig injection could decrease the infarct size in tissue of cerebral ischemia reperfusion; ③Lig injection could obviously ameliorated EEG in course of cerebral ischemia reperfusion.2. The effects of Lig injection on treatment ischemia cerebral vascular disease was realized through pathways displayed below: ?Lig injection could increase cerebral blood flow after brain ischemia and induce treatment effects in course of delay the occurrence of early phase in cascade damage of cerebral ischemic injury; (2) ameliorated blood rheology in model animal of microcirculation obstruction; (3) Inhabited platelet aggregation and thrombus formation in model animal of micro-circulation obstruction; ④Decreased activation of free radicals and inhabited lipid peroxide reaction; ⑤ Increased the content of PGI2 and decreased the content...
