Objective: to investigate the possible therapeutic effect and mechanism of qingxiaofang on the simple obesity, and analyze the possible effect of the traditional Chinese medicine qingxiaofang on the simple obesity related genetic factor with advanced real time RT-PCR. Method:1.Simple obesity mouse model were induced with high fatty feed, and the treated group were administrated with the traditional Chinese medicine,to observe the difference among the groups of normal mouse , Simple obesity mouse and treated mouse on the body weight (BW) ,visceral organs weight , morphology of adipose tissue, TG,TC, liver function , inorganic ion , insulin and leptin, in order to investigate the effect and mechanism of the traditional Chinese medicine on simple obesity.2.Analyze the changed expression of simple obesity related genetic factor with advanced real time RT-PCR among the normal mouse , simple obesity mouse and treated mouse quantatively to observe the effect of traditional Chinese medicine on the simple obesity related genetic factor and the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine on the simple obesity in term of molecular biology.Result:1.Simple obesity mouse model was induced successfully. 2.1ncreasement of body weight in simple obesity mouse model was apparently inhibted ,and the body weight was the same as normal mouse after administration of traditional Chinese medicine for 6 weeks .The liver weight of the treated mouse was apparently lower than that of simple obesity mouse ,and same as the same age normal mouse .inaddition ,the concentration of insulin and leptin of simple obesity mouse were markedly decreased by the use of the traditional Chinese medicine.3.the mRNA expression of Leptin and TNF a were significantly decreased in the Subcutaneous fat and visceral fat of Simple obesity mouse, while the mRNA expression of Adipsin in the Subcutaneous fat, visceral fat and brown adipose tissue, PPARyand Adiponectin in the visceral fat of simple obesity mouse were markedly increased with the administration of traditional Chinese medicine for 6 weeks, and there was no significant effect on the expression of UCP1 mRNA. Conclusion:1. There is apparently regulative effect on the body weight of simple obesity mouse for traditional Chinese medicine qingxiaofang ,which can make the weigth of model mouse normal...
