Licorice root is a commonly used constant medicinal material. With the development of constant deepening study on the licorice root, the application area of licorice root is expanding all the time. The demand of licorice root is increased greatly , even far exceeds its amount of production. In many natural distribution areas of the wild licorice root, the cultivated products have been launched at present. Licorice root has been widely used and the faultiness and unreasonable situation of the evaluation criterion, artificial planted or cultivated Chinese medicinal materials, as the trend of item goes , becoming the main strain goods, and licorice root Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch ,as the mainstrain goods which are applied in the field of TCM,distributing the most widely, with better quality, with the determination of large kinds of effective components in it, the analysis of the HPLC fingerprint atlas characteristic at the same time, and the combination of some pharmacodynamical test result, we have researched and evaluated the quality characteristic of different kinds of cultivated licorice root which are cultured under modern cultivation technique and genuine wild licorice root .Through that we have got to the following results:1.In order to find out the characteristic of different samples'fingerprint accuratelyand clearly, firstly we utilized the HPLC-MS to analyze the main fingerprint peak of cultured and wild licorice root samples separately and found out each one's ascription to 13 confirmed compounds; Find that 2nd-H flavanones glycoside and flavonoid glycoside peak before 22min in retention time; 25-35min content saponins peaks for mainly, flavonesand cumarin composition peak mainly behind the 35min.2.To study the characteristic of medicinal materials'quality of different producing area, we planted twenty wild kinds of different characteristics in 3 producing areas. Finally the result show that four kinds of effective conponents content all related to producing area in medicinal materials; moreover, producing area has extreme significant influence on flavone content; but in more than 150 determined samples, no matter which composition, basically all the content of Hang Jinqi in Inner Mongol are the highest, whereas there is no significant difference between the sample in Baicheng of Jilin and the one in Chifeng of the Inner Mongol. In terms of the four kinds of composition content ratios in three producing area samples, there are differences in the ratio. Meanwhile, find out that the samples from the same kind of source but different producing area basically has identical fingerprint peak shape , peak number ,retention time of atlas , but chromatogram also shows that relative peak area differentiates greatly, especially...
