Three patients with advanced adult high-grade T-cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphonas ( NHL ) were treated by high dose therapy and ABMT as a first line therapy. Case 1 was stage IIIb; case 2 and 3 were stage IVb , and bone marrow involved (19% blast cells) in case 2. All of them were given an inductive therapy with 3-4 courses BACUP regimen befor ABMT; and then 40-50 days later, Vp-16, CTX and TBI were given as conditioning reginen ( case 1: TLI ). Case 1 and 2 only reached partial remission after inductive therapy (case 2: relapse at primary sites inductive therapy one month later, but bone marrow: complete remission(CR) ), all of three patients reached CR after ABMT. Case 2 had relapse with total body (bone marrow blast cells: 8ï¼… at CR 110 days later and died from the relapse 12 monthes later. For the present, Case 1 and 3 were free-disease survival 10 and 7 monthes respectively. There were not any fatal marrow transplant regimen-related toxicities during inductive and ABMI treatment. The pilot study suggested: The clinical results of these high-grad NHL may be inproved by high dose therapy and ABMT, and its toxicities may be tolerable.
