IntroductionOvarian cancer is the most common cause of cancer death from gynecologic tumors. the long-term prognosis for women with advanced ovarian cancer is poor, and discovery of newer effective therapy regimens is the key . Inducing apoptosis is a promising method of cancer therapy. Some research show that Fas expression is low in Ovarian epithelial carcinoma ,and transfection of Fas gene can significantly upregulate the Fas expression in ovarian epithelial carcinoma, and apoptosis were easily induced by Fas Monoclonal Antibody in transfected ovarian cancer cells. The promise of gene therapy has long seemed spectacular, But there were still many limitations of gene therapy. A major problem in gene therapy is tumor-specific gene expression and safety and effectivity of viral vectors.ObjectiveIn this study,we aimed at elevating the effect of Fas-mediated apoptosis in ovarian epithelial carcinoma, which induced by T cell and natural kill cells through introduction Fas gene into ovarian epithelial carcinoma cell. We also subordinated the Fas gene to the control of the hTERT promoter with the idea of restricting its expression to tumor cells. Adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors was used to transfect Fas gene...
