Chinese Traditional Medicine(TCM) has a long history and unique theoretical system, which has increase great concern and show great possible on anti-aging.TCM theory believe that the weakness of five internal organs is the main physiological characteristics of aging, especially the weakness of kidney, Five internal organs' weakness will make kidney damaged finally, also may lead to phlegm and blood stagnation, which accelerate aging process. Therefore, aging is mainly due to the weakness of kidney, is a syndrome that combines with "xu" and "shi". The study will focus on kidney weakness and Qi-Blood circulation to demonstrate the anti-aging efficacy of kidney replenishing and also try to disclose TCM Qi-xue-yin-yang theory."GuiLuErXianGao"(GLEX) is recorded in , which is formulated with 4 classic Chinese drugs, deer horn, turtle shell, medlar, and ginseng, to replenish "Yin, Yang, Xue and Qi respectively. The prescription is a classic kidney replenis hment to gently enhance Yin, Yang, Qi, and Xue at the same time without side effect of restlessness and stagnation feeling. Literatures show GLEX has the benefits on enhance Kidney Yin and yang, anti-aging;improve immunity, and andti-radiation etc. In order to deeply test GLEX's anti-aging efficacy, we designed the study;we aslo set non-Ginseng group to test TCM Qi-Xue-Yin-Yang Theory.For aging animal model, we choose a classic D- half lactose method, animals are randomly divided into the normal group, model group, the GLEX high dosage group(15g finished /kg), the GLEX medium dosage group (10g finished /kg), and GLEX low dosagegroup (5g/kg), all groups except the normal group are made aging model. Different dosage GLEX and non-ginseng GLEX are feed to animals accordingly, while model group is feed by water.1, The anti-oxidant efficacy of GLEX: result show all GLEX group can improve the activity of SOD, GSH, CAT in both blood serum and brain mitochondrion , can decrease the level of MDA, thereby improving the ability to remove bad organisms, reduces skin peroxide response, and also significantly reduced the injuries caused by bad blood viscosity, to protect red blood cell deformation and promote blood dynamics change state, improve micro-circulation, this may be one of the mechanism that GLEX can anti-aging.2 GLEX's efficacy on immunity improvement: the result show that GLEX can improve the abdominal giant cavity cell engulfing functions, thymus index, spleen lymphocyte multiplier effect and promote IL-2 activity.
