1. ObjectiveThe mice model of transplanted hepatocarcinorma H22 was chosen to observe the effect of tumor growth of transplanted hepatocarcinaoma on mice and expressions of Bcl-2,Bax proteins and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), microvesseld- ensity(MVD) in tumor tissues.2. MethodKunming mice, transplanted by H22 hepatocarcinoma cells, were divided into a model group, a cyclophosphamide group and three groups of Xinjia Liangfu recipe in high dose (10g/kg), medium dose(5g/kg) and low dose(2.5g/kg). The dose of cyclophosphamide group was 17mg/kg, the model group received the same volume germfree saline. The mice were killed after the drugs and water had been given for twelve days and tumor tissues were separated. The size and weight of tumor tissues was measured and the tumor inhibition rate was calculated. And expressions of Bcl-2 , Bax and VEGF, MVD were detected using immuno- histochemical method.3. ResultThe study demonstrated the results as follows: I. The tumor inhibition rate of Xinjia Liangfu recipe group in high dose was 48.5% and was higher obviously than it of model group(P<0.01). II. Compared to the model group, the groups of Xinjia Liangfu recipe in high dose and medium dose could increase the expression of Bcl-2 protein and decrease the expression of Bax protein(P<0.01,P<0.05). III. The expression of VEGF influenced by Xinjia Liangfu recipe in high dose and medium dose were lower than that in model group(P<0.01). The Xinjia Liangfu recipe in medium dose could suppress the expression of MVD compared to it in model group (P<0.05).4. ConclusionXinjia Liangfu recipe could repress the growth of hepatocarcinorma. It could induce apoptosis of hepatocarcinorma cells through regulating down the expression of Bcl-2 and regulating up the expression of Bax. It also could inhibit the growth of tumor vein. Xinjia Liangfu recipe could induce apoptosis and inhibit growth of tumor vein to inhibit hepatocarcinorma.
