Experience Of Professor Yang Ming-hui In Treating Latent Disease

Theory:In this paper, the theory of treating latent disease was traced. Then its basic content was described, which includes prevention, treatment, preventing changes. The relevance of the constitution and latent disease, the relationship between physical identification and latent disease, and major physical type was also discussed.Academic experience:Professor Yang Minghui regarded that the improper diet, emotional disorders, work and rest disorders, social and environmental factors are the main factors. His treatment has the following characteristics:Chinese and Western co-participation, differentiating combined with disease, to nature, form and idea; people-oriented, and discernment yin and yang, emphasis on physical identification. He also stressed conditioning organs and often divided 10 types in treating latent disease. To prevent latent disease people should pay attention to recuperating, and regulating emotion, diet section, moderate exercise, and provide the specific strategies for military.Research:by the use of "Chinese Physical Inventory" on the 4300 cases of military in the physical identification, the distribution of nine categories was found as follow: gentleness, Qi deficiency, Yang deficiency, Yin deficiency of quality, Phlegm, damp-heat, blood stasis, Qi Yu quality. The proportion of the above constitution as follows:80.28,3.11%,2.67%,0.63%,0.58%,2.16%,0.86%,7.00%,0.93%. The results show that the nine types of moderate physical quality were a total of 3452 cases, accounting for 80.28%, indicating good physical military. In addition to moderate quality, other types of constitutions of about 17.95%, and the existence of some of nine categories of physical evidence with each other and the situation of about 1.77%, including both two, three, or four types, these military may have potential health problems and should be given enough attention.
