Objective:To investigate the influence of acupuncture on the relevant indexes in Children with Cerebral Palsy, including muscle force, motor function of limbs, capability of activities of daily living.Method:In the research,155 cases diagnosed Cerebral Palsy were assigned into two groups according to proportion of 3:2,93 cases had acupuncture treatment, and the other 62 cases took traditional Chinese medicine. Then observe two group'muscle force, motor function of limbs(using motorasses-sment scale and capability of activities of daily living (using Barthel index scale) in pretherapy and post-treatment, comparing two group'improvement of muscle force with motorasses-sment scale and Barthel index scale. Then detect the interleukin 6 in the blood serum and tumor necrosis factor(TNF) a of the two groups in prior treatment and after treatment, according to this, the acupuncture therapeutic principle of Cerebral Palsy treatment could be approached.Result:The group of acupuncture'motor function of limbs of post-treatment are better than that of the group of Chinese traditional medicine. P=0.000,0.000. The difference was significant. Comparing with motorasses-sment scale of two groups, the group of acupuncture'motor-asses-sment scale of post-treatment are better than group of Chinese traditional medicine. P=0.000. The difference was significant. Comparing with motorasses-sment scale therapeutic effect of two groups, the group of acupuncture'motorasses-sment scale therapeutic effect of post treatment are better than the group of Chinese traditional medicine. P =0.000. The difference was significant. Comparing with Barthel index scale of two groups, the group of acupuncture'Barthel index scale of post-treatment are better than the group of Chinese traditional medicine. P=0.000. The difference was significant. Comparing with Barthel index scaletherapeutic effect of two groups, the group of acupuncture'Barthel index scale therapeutic effect of post-treatment are better than group of Chinese traditional medicine. P=0.000. The difference wassignificant. Conclusion:This research showed that the treatment of acupuncture had significant therapeutic effect in treating Cerebral Palsy. It could not only improve muscle force (lower limb is better), but also enhance motor function of limbs, even more can elevate capability of activities of daily living in great degree. There was not obviously adverse effect. It showed that the treatment of acupuncture was a safe therapy. This research provided a good guidance to select the best acupuncture methods for Cerebral Palsy, as well as establishing a foundation for the further research on the mechanism of acupuncture in treating Cerebral Palsy. The result of the experence showed that the blood serumIL-6,IL-10and TNF1-a were high in the blood, this indicated that high levelinflammatory factor in the blood of Children with Cerebral Palsy did something with the disease. The level of blood serumIL-6,IL-10and TNF1-αdescended after acupuncture treatment, and the diffrence of the three index before and after treatment was significant.
