Biomacromolecular drugs with race specificity, immunogenicity, unintended activity and other characteristics, which make it difficulty for the pharmacokinetic studies. The present work was to study the label of three kinds of biomacromolecular drugs (proteins, peptides, polysaccharides) and their pharmacokinetics. The work was divided into six main parts: (1) 125I label of porcine fibrinogen and the pharmacokinetics of porcine-derived fibrin glue in rats; (2) FITC label of porcine fibrinogen and the pharmacokinetics of porcine-derived fibrin glue in rats; (3) Compare of 125I and FITC label and trace methods; (4) FITC label of porcine fibrinogen and the pharmacokinetics of porcine-derived fibrin glue in dogs; (5) FITC label of disintegrin and its pharmacokinetics in rats; (6) FITC label of polysaccharide from Mytilus edulis and its pharmacokinetics in rats. Finally, the correct and reliable pharmacokinetic study methodologies were established. The pharmacokinetic profiles of porcine fibrinogen, disintegrin and polysaccharide from Mytilus edulis were discussed.
