Linguistic Conceptualization Of The World

The study of meaning should start from linguistic conceptualization, thus time category is an important aspect of language, the study on the linguistic conceptualization of time should be included in the frame of the Trinity "Human being-Language-the World". The aim of the study on Russian linguistic conceptualization of time is to reveal the ways of perception, presentation, description, interpretation and evaluation of time, the relationship between time and the world (including Human being). Focusing on the principle of "anthropocentrism", findings of the research in philosophy, physics, cognitive science, linguistics and other subjects will be referred and absorbed, the methods such as induction and deduction, description and explanation, dynamic and static, macro and micro will be adopted for three-dimensional, multidimensional, comprehensive and integrated research. The study involves cognition of time and the human factor, the cognitive characteristics of temporal and aspect of the verb, cognitive models of time, semantic supercategory "space-time location" and extralinguistic reality, classification of predicates and types of noun phrases, the formation mechanism of the concept of time, the national characteristics of time picture, the status of time in the linguistic picture of the world and so on.Time is not only an essential form and structure of linguistic conceptualization, but also an element and content of linguistic conceptualization. Linguistic conceptualization of time is a dynamic process with historical superimposition, the results of which are reflected mainly in two aspects:grammar and lexicon. On the one hand, language is a system of sound symbols, the structural organization of language can not be separated from dimension of time; On the other hand, language integrates human's experiences on time, knowledge of time, attitudes towards time and evaluation of time, and thus forms conceptual system of time. Concept of time is a complex unification of the human material (external) and spirit (internal) experience, the ultimate product of which is time picture. Time picture is a multi-level heterogeneous mixture with national characteristics. Time is the basic dimension and the domain of human existence, which relates to the status of human being. The generation of the world also demonstrates the process of time.The study of linguistic conceptualization of time helps us to explain the activities of the human mind, reveal the mental structure and characteristics of human mind, in order to further explore the significance of the human existence, and thus more clearly understand human being and the world around them. The study has important theoretical significance and practical value for computer processing of natural language, machine translation, artificial intelligence, and for the foreign language teaching and lexicographer.
