The artistic exchanges between Chinese and Western in Ming and Qing Dynasties are a part of the first time large-scale substantive contact exchanges between these two cultural systems. Consequently,"West learning"is the biggest characteristic of that time. In the Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong periods of Qing dynasty, the court painting style was entirely different from the previous generations. The formation of this characteristic is due to the economic and cultural characteristics, social system, and the external relations of that time. After the practices of these three periods, this painting style reached a high degree of maturity.The court painting of this period was encouraged by Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong three empires. During this time, the economic prosperity proved fundamental need for the court painting style development, the replacement between two political powers proved a background for the afferent of west painting. As those past dynasties, court painting comes up with the whole dynasty's rise and fall, this kind of style and new thought expression their political color, because the change from beginning to flourish of court painting represents empires tasty. So, it quickly disappeared from the political changes at the Jiaqing empires day. But its impact has already shifted from the court to the whole society. Such kind of materials as Festivals, wars, portraits, custom figures, decorative murals of this period was developed significantly. Even those works include Inheritance of Chinese traditional painting, but the subject of the characteristics of Western painting is most obviously. These characters mainly as: integrate of mood and space; counteract between Chinese line and Chiaroscuros; the preservation of both composition styles; the combine of West realism color and Chinese ornamental color.From this reach, we can see that, Chinese Traditional aesthetics has withstood the race influence of Western aesthetics; it was proved that Innovation of Chinese and Western painting integration is not only copying. Towards Western aesthetics reference and absorption in a rational attitude, serviced for the reform of Chinese painting, this kind sprit provides us practical experiences of how we deal with foreign cultures. Today,"racial culture is world's", it require us beginning reflect and promote on our own cultural traditions, in a rational approach to the development of Chinese fine art.
