Cave temple art maintained remarkable Chinese characteristics as soon as it reachedChina. In addition, the Chinese characteristics increased through time.Yungang Grottowas made at Beiwei Period. The imperial family of Xianbei Race took charge of theYungang Grotto. The buildings, figures of Buddha, ornaments and wall paintings ofYungang Grotto were charactered with Xianbei Race. The Xianbei characterizedBuddhism art is also Chinesization. The culture of Xianbei is different from the Hannationality in the Yungang Grotto. This point of view is ignored. The Chinesization ofIndia Buddhist grottoes reflected the vitality of Chinese culture accepting differentcultures.There are many differences between Chinese grotto temple building and India grottotemple building. Buddhist pagoda Chinesization is the prominent change in Chinesegrotto temple building and is one of Chinese grotto temple building outstanding feature.Yungang grotto provide the evidence of Buddhist pagoda Chinesization and is oneof the phenomenon of the fusion of India Buddhist culture and Chinese culture.IndiaBuddhist building culture disseminated under the influence of Chinese culture.Yunganggrotto brought about Chinesization of India culture and promote Chinese grotto art andis one of the significant Chinese grotto temple building.The Chinesization of Yungang grotto reflected the vitality of Chinese cultureaccepting different Culture.
