| The relationship between the emperor authority and the royal status in Tang Dynasty has gone through three steps,which is accordance,conflict and conformity. During the reign of Gaozong and Taizong,the emperors consolidated their authority and regime by enhancing the royal status. But during the reign of Gaozong and Xuanzong,the emperor authority conflict with the royal status.
