Xixia Late Seven Scripture Mural Exploration

The work is divided three parts including six chapters.In Part I ,the author give the sketch of Dunhuang in general. It contains the styles and quantities of Dunhuang Jingbian. Then the author compares the Jingbian of Xixia later time with Dunhuang Jingbian, and draws the important conclusion of Xixia Jingbian in the history of Dunhuang Jingbian. Being short of Jingbian portraits and materials, doing research is significant and difficult at present. But it has been changed much in YuLinKu caves, there are more Xixia Jingbian portraits which published publicly.So the author has to choose the Jingbian of Xixia later time as the scope of work, and the work of researching method according to Dunhuang Jingbian.Part II is the focal point, and the author pays great attention to discussing the relationships and creation of Xixia seven main Jingbians on the foundation of study in their contents and forms. Through learning and imitating Dunhuang Jingbian, the Jingbian of Xixia later time came to grow up.There are many differences between Xixia Jingbian and Dunhuang Jingbian in YuLinKu caves, and so on.Four remarkable Jingbian characters of Xixia later time are displayed in Part III .One is the cutting of connected events and more new contains increasing .Secondly is the absorption in traditional and great creation . Thirdly is the covering of Chinese ink painting in whole Jingbian background. At last, the buildings hi the background of Jingbian becoming main and important thing in Jingbian describing.
