Study On Aesthetic Perception

The research on perception is an approach to experiential aesthetics. Since Empiricism in 18th century, the western aesthetics have paid more attention to aesthetic perception. On the contrary, Chinese provide few research findings. If we come back to the birth of aesthetics, which named perception science or art science, and review the conception taste, we will know the research of perception is very important to aesthetics. In the history of western aesthetics, phenomenology, analytical aesthetics and Gestalt psychology have provided more research on perception, from which we can draw a conclusion about aesthetics perception. The process of perception is a dynamic process, in which experience change to erlebenis and a Yijing(the mood of art) and the sense become. Language comes from the experience of aesthetic nature, so we can find the character of perception through linguistic analysis, and at the same time, we can test how words to depict things referring to perception. Literature and art and perception are in the same field, so we can see the development and reform of literature and art through the changes of the means of perception.
