LuXun is a stereoscopic spiritual statue. As a writer of unique personality, LunXun did not accept outer influence passively, which was manifested by the strong active choice. The relation between LunXun and whomever he accepted is equal in their spiritual acquaintance. Therefore, the light from every origin of influence lights one corner of his spiritual statue. This is the case with Kierkegaard LunXun made acquaintance with when he studied in Japan, kierkegaard made vital influence on the establishment of LinXun's individual thought, which had deep traces on his lifestyle, feelingstyle and literary creation. However, the academic circles paid much attention to Nietzsche, but little to Kierkegaard, only one article on this point by Tangyun. There are even some doubts on the existence of Kierkegaard's influence on the whole Chinese intellectuals. It is stated in this dissertation that a new area in LinXun' spiritual world can be opened from the angle of Kierkegarrd' influence. From this angle, a brand new understanding and interpretation be obtained on LinXun' individual thought, the origin of his thought, the point of view of the people, the people' belief and the similarity of what he accepted from outsides etc.The dissertation consists of four parts. Firstly, it explores the medium and preunderstanding when LunXun accepted Kierkegaard" influence while studying in Japan, discusses the relation between Kierkegaard's influence and the establishment of LinXun's origin of thought and explains his individual thought's value in modern time. Secondly, it makes comparative study on LinXun's point. of view and belief of the people and Kierkegaard's society and cultural criticism, which deepened LinXun's improvement of people's features. Thirdly, taking Shestov, Ibsen, Munch, VanGogh for examples, it explores the relation between LinXun and Kierkegaard in order to show the similarity of what LunXun accepted in his spiritual family. Fourthly, the case study of LunXun and Heidegger, the existentialist, tries to show the communication between LinXun and contemporary World 's cultural trends.
