The morphemes within San Quo Zhi(unincluding the note foots from Songzi Pei) are the object of this thesis, which completely collects those morphemes appearing in the above the Zhi, and it is the first time in this field .For a distinct description on this subject , author has selected over 17,000 typical ones out from 370,000 morphemes in San Guo Zhi, including about 2,700 simple and 14,650 complex phonemes. The following is what the author of this article is going to present:1) by an approach of combining quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis, this thesis describes those complex phonemes from San Guo Zhi through different angle such as structure, category etc. and sketches out the complex phonemes in San Guo Zhi.2) Comparing teen's ancient monographs on complex phonemes by lateral and vertical sections, the author dredged arteries in the development of different constructing approach to form complex phoneme.3) It is the first time being put forward decisely that the middle ancient time is a period for Chinese character to be changed from the simple into the complex as the main morpheme constructing approach , through macro comparative study and micro analysis.4) Theoretically, the author made a research on New Phoneme and NewSense, as well as gave them a explicit definition and criteria.5) Through careful and completed collection of New Phoneme and New Sense from San Quo Zhi, the author pointed out that within this book there are about 1640 New Phonemes and 580 New Senses.6) The significance for monographs edition and ancient books sorting is extracted by the study on the phonemes from San Quo Zhi. However, because of the limitation of the author's energy and knowledge level, some conclusions have been came out by sampling survey, while some just examplizing study. All these flaws should be far more improved through the author's further research and more efforts.
