Filipino-Chinese community has undergone fundamental changes since World War II,which includes the large number of overseas Chinese naturalisation, the overseas Chinese turning into ethnic Chinese, the economy of ethnic Chinese reshaping and booming, the identification of ethnic Chinese diverting towards the local society, the integration of Filipino-Chinese becoming faster. All these elements shows that the important role played by Filipino-Chinese community since World War II, and it also becomes a substantial subject to study on the development of Filipino-Chinese community. But until now there is no a book focused on the Filipino-Chinese community after the Second World War. The paper aims to discuss this subject from the aspect of the highest organisation of the Filipino-Chinese community?FFCCCII.The paper consists of six chapters, which are six periods according to historical development of FFCCCII and the Filipino-Chinese community since World War II. The paper analysis the characteristic of FFCCCII and the Filipino-Chinese community by the means of conflict theory of sociology.Chapter one discusses the nature of the Filipino-Chinese community and the birth of FFCCCI between 1945 and 1954. At that time, the Filipino-Chinese community was facing fierce internal and external conflicts, especially the external conflicts. Under the great external pressure, the internal pressure of the Filipino-Chinese community got temporary ease. On the issue of establishing FFCCCII there was a concord agreement to survive and ease the crisis of the Filipino-Chinese community through FFCCCII.Chapter two discusses the creation of FFCCCII (1954-1966) and the characteristics of the Filipino-Chinese community. After the establishment, the FFCCCII began to fight actively. But due to Philippine existing policy of nationalisation, the fighting was ineffective and arose the evolution of conflicts of the Filipino-Chinese community. It was the hardest time for FFCCCII and the Filipino-Chinese community. FFCCCII faced the power crisis and the development of FFCCCI and the Filipino-Chinese community got blocked as the continuing conflicts between the internal and external forces.Chapter three discusses FFCCCII grown-up period and the nature of FFCCCII (1966-1975) and the Filipino-Chinese community. Because of the failure of nationalisation, the Philippine government began to revise the policy concerning ethnic Chinese. The ending of the policy of nationalisation and the revision policy friendly towards ethnic Chinese madethe external conflicts ease and improved the political environment of the FFCCII as well as the Filipino-Chinese community. At the same time, the internal conflicts were also relieved. The Filipino-Chinese community finally went together and FFCCCII strengthened its position. The relief of the internal and external conflicts created a beneficial condition for the development of FFCCII and the Filipino-Chinese community. This was a rising period for FFCCCII and the Filipino-Chinese community.Chapter four discusses the stable period of FFCCCII (1975-1994) and the characteristics of the Filipino-Chinese community. Marcos government issued a new policy of naturalisation before the eve of the establishing diplomatic relationship between the Chinese and Philippine government in 1975. The new policy allowed a large number of overseas Chinese naturalisation and the overseas Chinese community turned into ethnical Chinese community. The integration between Chinese and Philippines was accelerated. The external conflicts of the Filipino-Chinese community got released further. However, the internal conflicts in the Filipino-Chinese community was intensified due to the establishment of diplomatic relations between Chinese and Philippine government. Influenced by Cross-Straits relations, there was very fierce fighting between pro-Taiwan and pro-Mainland communities in the Filipino-Chinese community, which also existed between pro-Taiwan and pro-Mainland groups in the communities themselves.
