In the introduction part, the author attempts to describe the poetry style evolution locus in the middle ancient, reveal the historical inevitability of the generation of the Gong Ti poetry and its time characteristics. The article holds that the middle ancient poetry style development went through three stages and the Gong Ti poetry was the product of the third stage. The Gong Ti poetry was born at Qi Liang Dynasty in which period the new type poetry style was forming. The Gong Ti poetry was also the product of the new type poetry style.Chapter One discusses the definition of the Gong Ti poetry. The author considers that the Gong Ti poetry should be defined from the subject and the style. The Gong Ti poetry should be referred to the new type light-hearted and amorous poems that began in the early Tang Dynasty and became popular in the late Liang Dynasty (when Xiao Gang became the crown prince) with Xiao Gang as the representative poet.Chapter Two discusses the background where the Gong Ti poetry came into being. From the aspect of society, there are four reasons for the appearance of the new poetry: the government was far away from the warring frontier, the economy developed very quickly, a trend of extravagance appeared and the relationship between the nobles and the commons changed a lot. From the aspect of thinking, three things should be pointed out, which are the less restrictions on people's mind, the exchanges between Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism; as well as the attention on the enjoyment. Finally, Gong Ti Poetry was derectly brought into being by the the aesthetic trend of paying attention to enjoyment, which is characterized by faggoty, refinement and secularity.Chapter Three discusses the concept on the Gong Ti poetry. From the theory point, there were not many materials that really displayed the core concept of the Gong Ti poetry. Most content was the same as the general concept of the new type poetry. The thesis addresses the concept from the point of the nature, creation, style, function and position etc. with the focus on the analysis of the article libertinism point, which is the core concept and theory basis of the Gong Ti poetryChapter Four discusses the origin of the Gong Ti poetry. The author holds the view that the Gong Ti poetry had been influenced by the Yong Wu poetry, Yue Fu poetry, amorous poems and Fu poetry, among which the Yong Wu poetry had more direct influence and was the major origin of the Gong Ti poetry.Chapter Five discusses the characteristics of the Gong Ti poetry. It attempts to use the appreciation concept to grasp the characteristics of the Gong Ti poetry. The Gong Ti poetry has the clear tendency for description. The description method was applied not only for the works on female's appearance and posture but also for the works on the female's heart pain. On this basis, this part reveals the pleasure and appreciation tendency of the Gong Ti poetry through the light-hearted and amorous analysis. The light-hearted and amorous style was mainly determined by the specific subject content. The interior of the Gong Ti poetry also existed the degenerating factor. Part of the Gong Ti poetry described the sadness of the female. Though the description was for the display purpose, the objective motion not only touched the author but also triggered the author's imagination and induced the author's resonance during the display course. The works created in this way had considerable lyricism and sentiment with relatively superb form. If the poetry developed in this direction, the Gong Ti poetry would be degenerated in a gradual course. Chapter Six discusses the characteristics of the Gong Ti poetry. It studies the how theGong Ti poetry modifies people, its styles, its ou & dui and sounds, and then point out it essentially is a brand-new poetry. Along with other new poetries, it makes poetry transit to Tang poetry.Chapter Seven addresses the evaluation of the Gong Ti poetry.
