| Philosophy originates human nature to inquire the ultimate essence of being. In this sense, the essence of philosophy is that Man tries to hold the reins of the world through human thoughts. And the function of philosophy should be, the reading of reality not the positive description, the constructing of thoughts not the argument of facts, the promoting of spirits not the normalizing of behaviors, the guiding of ideas not the acquiring of knowledge. Based on the views of above, the dissertation probes into the issue the spirit world of people under the circumstances of socialist market economy in contemporary China, and draws some conclusions.In the whole, the issue concludes 3 questions in the logic, that is, the question of socialist market economy, the question of human existence way and the question of human spirit world, in which there are 2 logic relations: (a),in the sense of being theory, it is a relation of background—activity—spirit; (b) in the sense of becoming theory, it is a relation of origin—reality base—ultimate result. And the purpose of the dissertation is to analyze the spirit world in contemporary China, its conditions, its basic feature and its changes today, with the aim of guiding the practice of people′ life.Some conclusions which have been drawn are as follows:(1) The essence and homonology logic of socialist market economy. By differencing the general and the particular of socialist market economy, the essence of socialist market economy is defined, which depends on the particularity of public-owned enterprise. As we all know, there are 3 relations between the individuals and enterprises in socialist China, namely, one, between the individuals and non-state-owned enterprise, in which the change is private abiding by the principle of equal price; two, enterprise each other, in which the change is also private, abiding by the principle of equal price too; and three, between the individuals and public-owned enterprise, in which the change is not private but the individuals directly to the society, abiding by the principle of equal labor. For, in the public-owned enterprise, everyone is equal and as same, who all have not the productive means but the labor in fact, the ownership only being the right. In the enterprise, everyone labors and rewards what is given to the enterprise after being deducted necessarily by the society, so, something changed between the individuals and the enterprise is the equal labor, which only exists in the socialist market economy. Accordingly, the homonology logic of socialist market economy becomes, that is, it is a full-shared economy, a democratic economy, and a supervised economy. (2) The way of human existence. The dissertation probes into the changes of existence way in contemporary China, and finds its main features, namely, (a) the tendency of social stratification in the background of existence and the becoming of 3 strength social strata; (b) the differentiation of profession in the existence means and the becoming of 4 dominant existence means; (c) the diversification of existence role and its double importance of both labor time and leisure time; (d) the diversifying of existence value and the double dominance of both achievement consciousness and ability consciousness. Based on the changes, the paper analyzes its cause and its logic requirement for the spirit world of today′ people in China. This is the second conclusion of the dissertation, which is also the base of spirit world issue.(3) The issue of spirit world, which is the main part of this dissertation. The spirit world is defined firstly, that is, it means the total of human consciousness activity and its results, which includes 2 logic contents: (a) in the view of being theory, spirit world refers to the phenomena of human consciousness; (b) in the view of becoming theory, it refers to the activity of human consciousness.
