The study of Yunjian Ci School is a very important part of that of Ci Schools in the period from late Ming-Dynasty to early Qing-Dynasty. The goal is to clarify the course of the development of Yunjian Ci School, evaluate the works and literary criticism, show its position and influence in the history of Ci, and thus provide a fundamental basis as well as some clues for the researches on the history of Ci in Qing-Dynasty.This topic contains several problems which call for special attention:1 Probe basic information of Yunjian Ci School, including the information of poets and poet groups, collections which were edited in the period from late Ming-Dynasty to early Qing-Dynasty and had a close relationship with Yunjian Ci School, collections of individual poets, the times of Yunjian Ci School and the historical background related.2 Pay attention to the social and cultural background of Yunjian Ci School, especially the interaction between Yunjian Ci School and Jishe. At that time, local cultures had been flourishing in Southeast China, in which local literature groups played a very important part. Jishe was very famous and conspicuous in those groups. Yunjian School, in the sense of literature, had developed on the basis of Jishe.3 Correct the fallacies which appeared in former researches. The former subject usually centred on Chen Zilong or "three luminaries of Yunjian School". But as the lack of edition materials, there were some fallacies. Since more and more data have been gathered, those fallacies should be corrected.4 Attach importance to studies of poet groups. One structural feature of Yunjian Ci School is that there were many different kinds of poet groups, for example by families, by literature groups, by the teacher-student relationship and so on.. They were human resources of the School and formed its framework. Yunjian Ci School, which lasted several decades, was supported by this framework powerfully. The thoughts and structure of this paper is based on the goals and problems mentioned above. This paper contains eight chapters. The first chapter will give brief introductions of Yunjian Ci School, including the time and the area of Yunjian Ci School, several important collections of this school, the name list of Yunjian Ci poets, the structural features of those poets and the relationship between Yunjian Ci School and Songjiang Jishe. The researches on poet groups cover the next five chapters."The second chapter put the emphasis on how the group of "three luminaries of Yunjian Ci School" formed and the time when they edited the collection Youlancao. Then evaluate Youlancao objectively.Chapter Three and Chapter Four both take the poet groups as the subjects, with different emphases. As for Songs, considering its flourishing and great influence, this paper will lay particular stress on its system, characteristics of its generations and its group literary activities. Then, analyse and evaluate their group work Changheshiyu. The poet group of Zhous consisted of three generations. This paper will mainly focus on their individual works to show the literature tradition from generation to generation. The fifth chapter centres on Jiang Pingjie and his students. They.eagerly pursued classics and considered Huajian as their great model in their own collection Zhijiji. The sixth chapter focuses on a group of editors. Qingpingchuxuanhouji, edited mainly by Tian Maoyu, was published in the 17th year of Kangxi Period in Qing Dynasty. It symbolized the end of Yunjian Ci School. The later literature theory of the school was comparatively open and apt to accept more different styles of Ci. The parochial attitude was broken through, which expressed the trend of changing and fusing.Chapter Seven and Eight will study poet individuals. As the leader of Yunjian Ci School, Chen Zilong will be discussed in a special chapter, including his functions in the school, the advantages and disadvantages of his theories on Ci, thus evaluating his changes objectively. Some other important poets wil...
