It is pointed that the appearance and development of Poems based onBuddhist philosophy in Chinese ancient poetic field showed the development ofChinese Buddhism and created a new state of unity of Wen and Dao . It is especiallypointed that scenery poetry influenced by Zen-Buddhism achieved harmony betweenZen's philosophy and poetic crafts , created the highest aesthetic mode of Chineseancient poem , and advanced the appearance of theory of aesthetic conception . Chinese Poems based on Buddhist philosophy stemmed from Ji of Buddhist Scripture andemerged from the confluence of neo-Taoism and Buddhism in Eastern Jing . It appeared first inform of Xuanyan poetry , and developed to scenery poetry together. Zen-Buddhist poems in Tangand Song Dynasty were the mature form of the Poems based on Buddhist philosophy and gainedvery high artistic achievement and attained the aesthetic ideal of harmony between Wen and Daoof Chinese ancient poems .
